Karim Teja is WaterSMART’s Chief Financial Officer. He is an accomplished financial and operations executive with almost two decades of success, recognized for his financial expertise, strong negotiating skills, excellent customer service and ability to meet fiduciary obligations to Boards of Directors and shareholders.
Karim capitalizes on his strong business acumen and experience to resolve critical financial and business decisions. He is experienced in technology commercialization, public company management, financing, investor relations, due diligence, intellectual property, profit and loss management, cash flow management, securities and exchange regulations, inventory management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and foreign currency.
Karim also has an extensive background in bringing new technologies to market, including hardware, software, and green technologies. He is also experienced in manufacturing and distribution of regulated products, financial management of consulting practices, and mergers and acquisitions.
In 2006, Karim was named one of the winners of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his instrumental work in rapidly commercializing and globally distributing a new healthcare product.
